Hi, I’m Neil Tankersley, a Gainesville, Georgia native and a retired professional musician turned interior designer. After spending many years in Nashville, I returned to my hometown to immerse myself in my passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces. Though my mother laid the groundwork for my design journey, I am mostly self-taught, blending my music background and creative vision into every project.
For over 20 years, I balanced my music career with design, spending countless hours working on projects while touring as a keyboard player. While my bandmates explored the cities we performed in, I found myself on the tour bus, searching for the perfect sofa or envisioning how a space could come together—I loved it! My last three years on the road were spent touring with country artist Luke Combs. During that time, I not only had the privilege of designing both his Nashville home and his vacation home in Florida but also honed the skills that now shape my approach to design.
Now, as a full-time designer, I’m here to empower others in their pursuit of happiness through home renovations. Home transformations should be exciting, not stressful, and I make it my mission to bring joy back into the design process. I believe your home is meant to reflect your personality and lifestyle. As I often say, “At the end of the day, this is YOUR home that you will live in, NOT mine.” If you don’t love it, then we haven’t done our job.
While I’ve had the privilege of working with high-profile clients, I value the relationships I build with each client most of all. The connections I forge are paramount. When I’m not designing, you’ll find me golfing or cherishing my faith, as Jesus is my rock. I’m all in on design, and I’d love to walk this journey with you!
